To freeze whole strawberries, fully rinse the fruit and pat dry, remove the hulls, and place on a flat cookie sheet until frozen. Remove and place frozen fruit in freezer bags allowing berries to be taken out individually.
To freeze sliced strawberries, fully rinse, remove the hulls, and then halve the fruit. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar per quart of strawberries and stir carefully to coat fruit with sugar. Place in freezer bags an place in freezer.
